Today we have a question from Barbara and Barbara wants to know, how long can I rent a storage unit? Good question. We wanna know if there’s a limit on that. You wanna store something for very, very long, sometimes for very, very short. So you wanna know if it’s allowed and what you’re supposed to do in order to properly prepare. So Barbara, the short answer is usually Thankfully, there is no limit on how long you can store. The minimum amount of storage will usually be one month. It means you can take your stuff out sooner, but you will usually be charged for the entire month anyway, so take that into consideration. When it comes to longer periods of storage, there isn’t a limit usually, nobody’s gonna kick you out after years of storage, so you can rest at ease knowing you can store for pretty much as long as you want. The only thing that you have to think about in these cases is that storage is essentially real estate, which means that the rent prices might increase over time because of property tax, so you have to make sure that you check your bills once in a while to see that you’re not being overcharged. However, on the other hand, taking a longer lease ahead of time is actually an advantage because you can get pretty significant discounts on rent if you store for longer periods of time, like more than six months, more than a year, you’ll get a discounted rate and you’ll end up paying less on a monthly basis. So Barbara, in conclusion, there is usually no limit at all and you can store for as long as you want, as long as you continue to pay on time. And of course, check your bills every now and again, just to make sure you have no surprise charges there. I really hope I answered your question
