Can I Put Storage Units On My Property?

We don’t have to go back and forth to the warehouse. It’s super convenient, super accessible, and even costs less because you don’t have to pay a monthly warehouse fee to store at the provider’s location. So I personally recommend it. I love portable storage. I love onsite storage. To answer your question, Bobby, it really does depend on where you are living. First thing you want to do is you want to ask your HOA or city council to make sure you’re in the kind of area that actually allows you to have one of those units on your property. Secondly, when choosing a storage provider, make sure that they will deliver the unit to you and have onsite storage. Not all portable storage providers allow this. So make sure you choose one that does. Now, when it comes to storing on your property, there is nothing more important than quality. The quality of your storage unit changes everything. Make sure you get something insulated that’s totally weatherproof and will protect your stuff and get some insurance. You don’t want to risk it when it’s not stored in a facility. So in conclusion, Bobby, you really need to consult with your HOA or city council if you don’t have an HOA and see what they will allow and where. Sometimes they’ll allow it, but only in the backyard. Sometimes they’ll allow it only behind a hedge. You have to really check and be sure before you order your unit.
